Large AIDA cruise ship docked at port with gangway and calm water under clear sky

Philadelphia will soon welcome a major new cruise terminal, set to open in spring 2026 with 41 cruises annually. The state-of-the-art facility, located next to Philadelphia International Airport in Tinicum Township, will make it easy for travelers to embark on world-class journeys to places like Bermuda and beyond — no need to fly to Florida for your next cruise adventure.

Construction is already underway for this 16-acre terminal, which aims to stimulate the local economy and create new jobs. Whether you're traveling with family, cruising for the first time, or are a seasoned explorer, you'll be able to set sail from Philadelphia while enjoying its storied maritime heritage.

The PhilaPort Cruise Terminal will debut its first voyages in April 2026, perfectly timed to celebrate the United States' 250th anniversary — a historic moment for tourism in Philadelphia. Norwegian Cruise Line will exclusively operate the terminal as the city’s homeport under a seven-year contract, offering dozens of sailings each year.
